When you start looking at the Telos, the end of things, with an education in Philosophy…. You notice a rather dark and cunning trend in our modern memetic thought process.
Each side of the divide uses words and concepts in manners made to get the other side to hate the very tools that it would need to break free of the chains that bind them in slavery.
For instance. It is a truth that society and government builds the infrastructure needed for any individual and business to grow and flourish. So, when Obama said, “You didn’t build that!” he was, in a manner of speaking, right dialectically. Meanwhile, everyone understood exactly what he meant by the words, reacted correctly to them. However, in doing so, most people become blind to the dialectic idea behind it - that we do, in fact, need functioning roads, infrastructure, and society.
In so doing, Obama pushed conservatives towards a fractured Libertarian model that is easier to control.
Another example. Democrats will say, “It takes a village to raise a child.” and often mean we want OUR village to raise YOUR child. They are correct on the words, and false on the rhetoric. Again, people respond correctly to what the Clintons et all mean, while often not realizing that yes, it does properly take a village to raise children. Anyone going it alone will fail rather spectacularly.
Or take the “Great Reset” propaganda. I doubt anyone disagrees that we do, in fact, need a great reset. Just not the one they’re talking about, and certainly NOT done or led by the people talking about it.
It is the same on the Republican side, particularly bad among Libertarians. Their siren calls of Freedom of the individual from all authority are particularly alluring right now; yet how will one individual stand against the Leviathan that is coming? Or the hordes that cross our border? Or merely the chaos of a dying Empire?
The Republican leadership repeatedly uses rhetoric that will never convince the youth or inner cities of our values. But, in much the same way as the examples cited, pushes them towards socialism, marxism, or an individualistic lifestyle. All of which are easily controlled, led by chains of propaganda, to where this Kayfabe society wants us to be.
In all, you can consider these ideas an anti-Truth vaxx; something that keeps your brain from accepting Truth.
They are shot directly into your brain, to inure you to the truth of what you need to know to guide you out of the maze of modernity.
If you give in, just as with the physical vax, you will get turbo cancer, just this one of thought. Luckily for you, there is the ability to excise this one with proper thought, meditation, and contrition for one’s errors.
As with the guidance on The Empire is Alien and Unreal, backwards is usually the means forwards. Not that one must be backwards in living, but in thought process.
And then you will find freedom to move as you can.
